In 1997, the first  year  right after finishing university, I stayed at a friends house in South of France and later went to South of Spain for Cyanotype printing.

One of those things that you find in farmhouses and especially in Provence are curious older and some new kitchentools you've never seen before and of course very original unique ones out of wire that Provence is famous for.

I created a little stilllife set on a table just working with the sunshine and my pinhole camera to take these photos. The pinhole camera transformed the kitchentools  to unknown objects withought weight just in open space.

And so I called the series that exists in contactsize and in a collectors size: cosmic kitchen
